Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
Julia Wells, significant other of Ian Caladharas. Julia co runs the Wells Hotel in Erech’s Clocktower District. For those people who have rpg’d in this world: The Wells Hotel is now known as Cytheron’s. Julia and Ian tied the knot in the City of Greyrest in the Crossing Territories.
Aloha from tropical IL, James! First, I digress to say THANKS! Just doing another reread, and digging the content more than ever. (I am still finding tidbits of things to think on at dif levels, as well as plot stuff I missed or forgot.) Very cool how the whole story is, how to say? Deep, maybe… lol, YOU know! Hopefully I’ll be hanging out at the end too*.
But anyhoo, why all this here? What is the picture in the background. Someone’s art you dig at Devart? Included as a concept/mental image of one of the cities in the story? I remember you sneaking in other stuff like that… Please do share!
Also, recently started using Chrome, as IE 7 finally was toast and IE 8 sux bad, I know, old news… But closed page instead of tab, back to history and saw your line about dead logitech, hahaha, hadn’t noticed that before, nice laugh there. I’ve had some too(and its replacement MS, is dead-1 yr lter, and its clone is new and junk(and going back to store to get another Logitech). That first LT of mine drove me beserk during finals week trying to do papers and cursor jumping all over and shit, due to breaking internal wire at junction to mouse… Are you still a logitech fan?
Best wishes to ya man, Rock On!

* You dig lots o music too, that lyric of “the future’s uncertain and the end is always near.” Has haunted me a looong time:) Have no intentions of leaving early though! As they say now, ‘Just sayin…’

3. Still a Logitech fan. I kill about one a year, but due to a few issues with beginnings of carpal tunnel, I stick with Logitech G500’s as my standard mouse.

2. The first wall picture is a free wallpaper that is available from NVIDIA. The second one is a piece I did a while ago. It is at http://requiemwebcomic.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d36r1qg
