No comic on the 1st.  I spent a good chunk of time in the hospital yesterday getting poked and prodded. 🙁
We’ll resume on Thursday.

From the Office of Julia Wells, Part 5.

Aidan Trask

Assistant to Julia Wells at the Wells Hotel, Erech.

Comics: 10
Recent Appearance: Tropics, Part 9
First Appearance: 04/18/2008

Ian Caladharas

Thorondor “Ian” Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn’t care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )

Comics: 1244
Recent Appearance: Sundown
First Appearance: 2004-06-18

Julia Wells (Caladharas)

Julia Wells, significant other of Ian Caladharas. Julia co runs the Wells Hotel in Erech’s Clocktower District. For those people who have rpg’d in this world: The Wells Hotel is now known as Cytheron’s. Julia and Ian tied the knot in the City of Greyrest in the Crossing Territories.

The more I look at her new hairstyle, the more I like it. And I already liked it quite a bit when I first saw it. 🙂

I definitely like it but my fiance has had this particular hairstyle for about 3 months now. Now, she is a bit older (29 and holding) and her hair color is brunette with blonde streaks.

I have a streaked texture for it as well somewhere in my libraries of stuff. My main worry was making sure that it was at least close to the original. I lucked out with this one 🙂

It came out pretty good. I wanted something that was a new look, but didn’t go too far away from her original hair. And it had to stay at least close to the original color (which is harder than you might think)

Woo, a cheer for a Ian&Julia panel. That couple really has some amazing on-screen chemistry, never fails to bring up a smile to my face :).

They are pretty good together aren’t they? They’re fun to write for, but I gotta be careful not to use them too much. (I don’t wanna wear out their welcome 😉 )

I like a guy who notices a girl’s haircut right away. 🙂 Yep, I really like these two as well. They are good, equal partners for each other. I must say, the red looks lovely on her. Also, her skin looks properly pale in this scene, much of the time it looked too dark for a ginger.
