While things are getting better a lot of things are still a trainwreck on my end.
While my cat has responded to the thyroid medication, she can’t take it as a pill which is the prime reason for all of her side effects (including being vomity as all hell)
So the mighty 15 year old furball is going to be getting a topical gel in her ears, and is on anti-nausea medication and a reduced dose of the pills until she can get on the gel.
That’s one thing that’s getting better…on the other hand, the day after I posted my message about things going on pause, an elderly family member banged themselves up in a fall and is still recovering.
So we are still in wait and see mode over here. When we know more, you’ll know more. đ
Glass is a Threllichock pilot and investigator for House Caladharas. His Threllichock name is unpronounceable to human kind: his human handle comes from his crystalline talons (A rare birth defect among his people, they are considered a mark of ill omen)
Thorondor âIanâ Caladharas is the 18 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesnât care what his grandfather says he is heir to, he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance to reflect aging and such as well. The top picture is how he is currently modeled. )
Illitock is the personal counselor to Jessica Tindal. Illitock is a member of an insectoid race called the Threllichock (at least as close as we can pronounce it). The Threllichock are the newest race to achieve full sentience and come from a society that was a communal hive. Approximately 7000 years ago, members of the race began to appear that were not members of the hive mind. More anomalies began to appear as the decades rolled on, and citizens like Illitock have begun to be fully integrated into House society. Several of them are now in highly placed positions throughout House society.
Hey, cool comic. I take it you are using some kind of 3D modeling? What I’d love to see is more creative angles. Go on! It shouldn’t take any more effort than just straight on. And more varied poses, I’m particularly thinking of your black monster on this page here. Now, I’ve only flicked through, so this might be deliberate, however it looks like you have cut and pasted it i.e. it’s kinda static. More interesting frame layouts would be all to the good as well!
The graphics look really good, so don’t think I’m ripping what you have here. The detailed models and scenery are pretty breathtaking.
@amuletts, Thank you. The static thing tends to vary based on what’s going on at the time. Plus our friends with the multiple arms are an absolute mother to pose. They look cool, but trying to keep limbs from going through one another can be a bear.
@James Roden, Ahhh! That explains it. Sorry, wasn’t really sure how the whole 3D thing worked.
You can do angles though right? Move the camera around so it looks slightly different so people don’t notice it’s in the same pose!
Of course, a lot can be forgiven by the fact that you actually spend the time to make a god-dang incredible monster đ
@amuletts, Though for being non static, I think my favorite ones in the last year or so are http://requiem.spiderforest.com/?p=2655 These just came out perfect.
